Heart Havens
In 2006, the vision for a Heart Havens home has turned into reality as the groundbreaking for the Morrison Home occurred on June 10, 2006. In December, 2005, a Morrison UMC Charge Conference transferred their donation of 2.1 acres of property to HH and the deed to the property was officially court filed on September 29 th . A community Open House awareness session was held prior to the groundbreaking, fund raising continues, surveying is complete, a plat plan is developed, architectural plans are being finalized, a silt fence is installed and prayer continues to be held “On the Property” each week. Progress continues with environmental and demolition concerns being taken care of first, and a sign being erected that declares that Home is Where the Heart is…Heart Havens!
