| How We Share Our Gifts |
- We support global initiatives such as Nothing But Nets, saving millions of lives per year by purchasing malaria nets for many families.
- We support Africa University in Old Mutare, Zimbabwe, conceived, built, and funded by the United Methodist Church.
- We support missionaries in many countries who share both the Good News of Jesus Christ as well as food, clothing, shelter, and other basic necessities of life.
- Each summer, we send a Mission Team to Upshur County, West Virginia, to work on houses (put on new roofs, siding, painting, etc.) served by the Upshur Parish House.
- Locally, we support ECCHO, Eastern Cabell County Humanities Organization, distributing food, clothing, and household items to those in need. We also give Christmas Baskets filled with food and gifts for all members of the family.
- We participate in random acts of kindness -- giving away free donuts at the Mall the day after Thanksgiving and opening our parking lot to everyone on July 4 -- because we are grateful for what we have received from God, the Giver of all good gifts.
- We love because God first loved us.
