Recap of the Fifties Dance
The youth decide to try something different by putting on a 1950's Dance, which by the way, was a smashing good time. We kicked the night off with Jam Master J as our DJ and we had lots of refreshments. This awesome activity took place on October 25, 2003. Jesus says that when two or more are gathered he'll be there, and sure enough we had him there with us because a happening group of about 25 people came out to have fun. The youth brought in around $100.00 to go towards future events. Even celebrities such as Marilyn Monroe, James Dean and the Fonze were there with their dancing shoes on. The youth appreciates all who came out to support us and we just wanted to let everyone know that this is the first of many dances and fun events that will be available for the church and the public. So by gathering the older generations and the new generations together we can make memories that will last a lifetime.
