Ministries
Our hope is that each person who
comes here will seek to be active in worship and prayer. We also hope that
all will find ways to use their unique gifts of the Spirit in edifying the
church or serving others. We ask that each person choose at least one avenue
of service.

Methodist
Camps
The Methodist Camps,
Epworth, Quinipet,
and Kingswood are
maintained by the New York Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.

Volunteers Needed: In addition to
camp participants, volunteer opportunities exist for clean-up days and for
financial contributions toward camp scholarships.

Volunteers in Mission
The Volunteers in Missions Program offers a
unique opportunity for Pawling UMC members to join a work team of members
from other churches in building churches, housing or facilities at locations
worldwide.
Volunteers Needed: Team members for
building projects in the U.S. and other nations, generally 7-14 days in the
summer.

"Midnight Run"
This ministry exists to help homeless with
food and clothing.

PUMC Thrift Shop
This ministry exists to help homeless and
needy with clothing etc..

Hunger Ministry
This ministry exists to help homeless with
food. Collected First Sunday of every month and donated to the
Pawling
community resource center.

ASP - Appalachia Service
Project
This ministry exists to help make homes
warmer, safer and drier for families in need..
