This page last modified on Friday, June 27, 2008 At St. Paul we believe in
working together with God to re-create a better world. Although our role may
seem small in the larger scheme of things, our involvement is important to us,
to humanity in need, and to the natural world around us. Thus, we’re involved
in service projects, mission, social action and individual volunteerism. Caring
for those outside our doors is as important as anything we do within our
congregation. Some of our involvements: o United Methodist Women’s and Men’s mission support o Supporting the local food pantry and providing
blankets and bedding for the local shelter o Locally volunteering with a variety of ministries and
services, including: †
Baldwin Center †
Lighthouse Ministry †
St. Joseph Hospital †
Habitat for Humanity †
CROP Walks o Working with and in Camp Fowler*
for special needs persons. *founded by and
later renamed for church member, Jack Fowler o Active participation with mission work trips. o Our children are supporting their own mission projects
by their offerings o Contributing to national and international United Methodist missions in Liberia, Haiti and here in the U.S. o Participating with the United Methodist Committee on
Relief providing aid wherever a natural disaster strikes in this world o Working to better our community and world through
social action; petitions, letter-writing, education, and personal involvement. |
