Let us join with other United Methodists across the California-Nevada Annual Conference in "Building a Bridge of Love to Angola: Doing What Matters to God!" We are helping to empower our brothers and sisters in Angola by aiding in the reconstruction of a medical clinic in Bom Jesus. This mission project is part of our larger global United Methodist commitment to help in the eradication of malaria on the continent of Africa. We can all participate in what will be an ongoing effort that includes prayers, gifts, work teams to Angola, and our commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ which calls us to help save lives. Our Bishop, Bishop Warner H. Brown, Jr., is challenging United Methodist Churches across the annual conference to raise $50,000 by June to bless our offering, and this work, during the 2013 Annual Conference session in Sacramento. Let's join this effort as United Methodists helping to be repairers of the breach bringing restoration.
