Hello Good People,
May the Grace of Jesus Christ be with you this June 2, 1999
Challenge of Trying, Trying, Trying again.
This is June and we are celebrating Miracle Month. We are asking God to make a Miracle in our lives. We are challenging ourselves in the month of June to Tithe, that is give 10% of what you earn. Tithing is a Biblical call of God. It is also giving God the chance to work in your life.
There are rich blessings when we tithe. We are learning to trust and obey. We dedicate our gifts that our hearts will follow. Jesus says 'Where your treasure is your heart will follow'. The treasure comes first.
In our hearts and minds we want our hearts to follow God. There is something we KNOW within us that says 'It is Good to follow God!'. To get there we need to put our treasure there.
When you first learned to walk, you fell down over and over again, got back up and tried again. When you did, a whole new world was opened up to you. We learn not to be discouraged, but dedicated. We learn that there is nothing wrong with trying, just giving up.
Some might say, I've tired tithing before, and it did not work for us. I tired, I really did, but cannot do it on a consistent basis, so what is the use?
God wants to offer a whole new world up to you, one filled with richness and blessings. We know that God will watch over us. No one will go hungry. No one will get too cold. It may mean a few less times at the restaurant, and maybe some more soup at home, but you will still have a home. Anyone who has any problems let me know, and we will help.
We are asking that you trust and obey God.
We will hear great stories of how God is blessing you! Tell those
stories that others will be lifted up. Tithing is a Spiritual Blessing and
God will send his blessings your whole life long. As you trust in God your
heart will follow.

This Sunday, Annual Conference begins. Please pray for us as we meet in Collinsville Sunday Evening.
This Sunday Park Worship in Miller Park begins! 6:00 p.m. look for us near the equipment, BRING your Lawn Chairs. Matt Stach will be bringing the message and helping Ken Lead the service.
Summer Choir begins tonight! Come join us even if you are not in regular choir, this is our time to help put on a musical.Needing chaperone help, for Teen Nights beginning on JUNE 10th. If you can help see Amy Pershall.
Need help to prepare meals for Post Teen nights on Wednesdays. If you can help prepare one meal this summer contact Matt Stach, phone number 556-2739.
On both of these we are looking for you to do it just one night all summer
long. Many hands make a light load.
