R.U.1.2? YOUTH FELLOWSHIP
 ANNUAL PUMPKIN PATCH
We will be unloading pumpkins for our Annual Pumpkin Patch fund-raiser on October 4 around 2pm. We need ALL of your help to have a great year. Last year, we raised over $10,000 towards Youth Mission Expenses! Put this date on your calendar now!
Join us at 4pm Sunday afternoons for a little fun. 4:00pm – 6:00pm
Join us tonight for a movie. We’re going to watch “hook” 9/7/08.

If you are in a sport or music group, Halecia would LOVE to have your schedule in order to attend some of your events! Please make her a copy and put it in her mailbox or e-mail it to her!!!

YOUTH SMALL GROUP
If you want to take your relationship with God and other youth up a notch, join us Wednesday at 6:30pm for our youth small group. We meet in Room 41.
NEW 11AM SUNDAY SCHOOL TO BEGIN IN SEPTEMBER
We’re starting another Sunday School class at 11am for those who attend the 9:30am service. Watch for details.
YOUTH COUNCIL/MINISTRY TEAM
Our next meeting will be on Sunday, September 14 at 2:30pm. Please put it on your calendars now!!
UNM WESLEY HOUSE YARD SALE
The Wesley House at UNM is seeking donations for their yard sale to be held on September 13. Please mark your items ahead of time. You may leave items for Halecia to pick up in the office or drop them off at 1801 Las Lomas NE. Proceeds from the sale will support updates to our facility, including electrical and plumbing.
SWIFT YOUNG ADULT RETREAT
Sacramento Methodist Assembly will be hosting the annual young adult retreat from September 19-21. If you are interested in going, please contact Halecia at phumcyouth@cybermesa.com or 307-9309. Deadline is September 14th.
COUPON CARDS
Help support the youth mission trip and save yourself a little cash as well. Purchase a fund-raiser card for $10. The back is full of coupons for you to use over and over every day until May of 2009! The Youth Mission Fund receives half of the cost of each card. Find a youth or Halecia to get yours today!
 ALUMINUM RECYCLING
Youth will collecting cans for recycling on the 2nd Sunday of each month. Proceeds will go towards the Coke Machine Fund to purchase the Coke that goes into the machine.
BIRTHDAY KIT COLLECTION
The youth are collecting items for birthday kits for IHN (Interfaith Hospitality Network). Items can be fun plates, napkins, and cups or party favors for boys or girls ages 1 to 16. If you would prefer to give cash, youth will also accept your donation and will go shopping to put together kits as well.
