One of the primary reasons we exist is to worship God and to glorify Him in all that we do. At PHUMC, we have a thriving worship community with countless opportunities for involvement. WORSHIP MINISTRY TEAMS

The Worship Committee is dedicated to providing a comfortable and safe place for anyone to connect with God. We seek this by observing proper reverence for the worship environment at Paradise Hills Church and by striving to remain transparent, that God alone may be seen and worshiped.

Altar Guild and Chancel Stewards: With special visual arrangements on the Altar, beautiful banners, flowers, and symbolic icons and colors of the Christian year, these dedicated individuals glorify God with their artistic visual talents and make the worship space attractive and inviting. Do you have an eye for worship?

Communion Stewards: At PHUMC, we celebrate the Lord's Supper on the first Sunday of each month. It takes reverant attention to detail, and only a few minutes each month, to prepare the elements of the Eucharist for worship. Would you like to assist in this meaningful activity?

Ushers / Greeters: We continually strive to be a more welcoming congregation, and this takes dedicated people with a heart for hospitality. The stranger is a long-awaited friend; can you help us make someone feel at home?

Liturgical Readers: One vital component to all of our worship gatherings is the reading and hearing of God's holy Word from the Bible. Continuing a centuries-long tradition, our liturgists lead worship with a strong reading style, allowing God's voice to heard clearly. If you have a zeal for the Scriptures and a talent for reading aloud, will you join our team?

Audio / Visual Technicians: A vital component of worship is the ability of every worshiper to see and hear everything clearly. We always need technically-minded people to help behind the scenes. We will train you. So, if you're a little geeky, use that God-given talent!

On-Call Team Members: During the Christian year, there come times when the worship teams need a little more help. The Christmas season, as well as during Lent and Holy Week, presents many unique opportunities for service in worship ministries. Jump in and help us out, if you'd like.
