We have just sent out the UMCOR page from the above link regarding online ability to donate to the UMCOR earthquake relief effort in Haiti. You can also do so thru your local church offering, by earmarking your check with UMCOR special advance number:

Your conference treasurer will make sure that all donations are sent to UMCOR as designated by your local church’s monthly offering submittal.

A New Worship Encounter

Saturday Worship Service Starting January 30, 2010 at 5:00 PM

On January 30, 2010, Paradise Hills United Methodist Church will begin to offer a Saturday worship service starting at 5:00 PM. After much prayer and reflection, we are “stepping out in faith” to offer this additional worship service. Jessica Ward will lead worship with a focus on families and youth in our community. Kari Vickerman will lead the music ministry portion of the service. Anyone that knows these two understands their commitment to Jesus Christ and the excitement that they will bring to this effort. They need your help to make this a success. Needs range from greeters to attendees to prayer advocates and etcetera. Please make an effort to make this “Christ-led” effort a success. Find a spot where you can help. Take a Saturday afternoon and attend the service. The entire church leadership is committed to helping make this a success. Please join us in praising our God.
