We at Wesley Memorial U.M.C. have committed ourselves to teaching and nurturing all families for Jesus Christ. Weekly and seasonal programs are offered for children of all ages to help them learn of Jesus’ love and his plan for their lives. Adults are encouraged to become involved in our ministry through their commitment of time and prayers. Any suggestions or concerns are always welcome.

Sunday School
Sunday school classes are offered and encouraged for children age two through 5th grade. These classes meet every Sunday morning from 9:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. Sunday school classes provide children with a basic understanding of the Christian faith, teachin them stories from the Bible, and showing the way these stories help them live their lives today.

Nursery
Nursery is provided on Sunday morning for children whose ages range from infancy through three years. We also offer child care for the young children on Wednesday evenings. For other church sponsored programs a nursery is provided for infants through age eight. We strive to provide a loving and safe atmosphere and to do our best to help you and your child feel at home at Wesley Memorial U.M.C.

Children’s Church
Children age four through second grade attend worship with their parents and are dismissed to their church service during the worship time. The children have an opportunity to pray together, sing, hear Bible stories and participate in activities that enhance the Bible story. A variety of creative individuals lead this time with the children.
