Since this page may be our first introduction, and thus, a first impression, allow me to begin by saying I am shy about having my picture on “display”, but there is nothing backward about my enthusiasm for the programs and activities of our church! There is great joy in being involved in the planning and development of ongoing activities and events for our church, community and world.
As Director of Programs, it is my responsibility to assist people in making a “faith-life” connection by establishing a variety of activities that make it possible for active involvement in the church. This may mean offering a new Bible Study class designed to address a particular age or interest group, sparking new community outreach projects, or establishing new ways of connecting people to one another and thus to fellowship.
On a more personal note, I am a wife, mother and grandmother. My husband, Tom, and I have been blessed with four children. The current count of grandchildren is eleven! Needless to say, holidays in our home are full of energy!
My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree earned from Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. While sociology was my declared major, most of the electives I chose were in the area of religion and philosophy.
