Children & Youth

Vacation Bible School - If you are 4-12 years old we invite you to join us for a fun filled week of Bible school. Bible school runs from Sunday to Thursday on June 22-26th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  The theme is "God's Big Backyard." All are welcome. Call Jennifer Grove at the church office to register or with questions.

Youth Group

Our youth group focuses on fellowship, Bible study and service projects to turn our teens into disciples for Christ. We meet Sunday evenings from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the gym. We also go on Mission trips, attend Impact, and help with Angel Food. The first Sunday in March is Youth Sunday 9 a.m. in the Sanctuary.

Pioneer Girls - meet Wednesday evenings during the school year from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in rooms 5-7. This is a program to encourage girls to have a relationship with Jesus and to become well-rounded individuals. The girls earn badges, participate in service projects, learn to hand sew, learn songs, and Bible verses, and march in the Boiling Springs Halloween parade. Each girl is partnered with a mentor (Pioneer Pal) and together they celebrate Christmas and birthdays. Any girl in K to 9th grade may join us.

Boy Scouts & Cub Scouts -

Otterbein has served as the Charter Organization for Pack 171 (Cub Scouts) and Troop 171 (Boy Scouts) since 1950. Cub Scouts are for boys in grades one through five. Boys are organized in groups called Dens which contain up to 8 boys plus Den Leaders and meet regularly on Sunday afternoon or Monday evening depending on the Den. Monthly, the dens meet together in a pack meeting to receive awards and recognition. Boy Scouts are for boys in grade 6 through age 18. The rank of Eagle Scout, which is the highest in Boy Scouting, has been attained by 28 members of Troop 171 over the years. Please check out their websites for more information.

Weddings

Although we wish we could accommodate all couples as they unite in Christian marriage, because our facility is so heavily used, we can only permit Church members and their families to use Otterbein Church for weddings.
