Nursery care is available during worship for children aged birth to 5 years upstairs in the children's department. Worship kits, with games and activities, are available in worship each Sunday to help children understand the service. There is also a special children's message each week. Junior church for children in grades K-5 is held on the
second and fourth Sundays of each month during regular worship. Scouting opportunities: Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts meet at the church during the school year. Follow the scouting link for more information. Children's Sabbath, a Sunday worship service led by the children of the congregation, is held each year in October. This service is planned and led by the children, often including prayers or responsive readings written by the children. Summerfest — Summerfest, our neighborhood carnival, is held in August in the church parking lot. There are free games, food, crafts, activities, and fun for all ages! Everyone is welcome! Winter Carnival — This free event with food, games, prizes, and a magic show, is held each year in March. Vacation Bible School is held in the evenings, for one week during the summer. Activities for ages 4- 5th grade include music, crafts, games, and Bible study. Monthly Activites — The children are invited to participate in fun activities with their Sunday School friends each month, such as roller skating, bowling, or visiting a nursing home. Family Fun Activities during the year include the Annual Church Picnic, Neighborhood Pool Party, and other special outings that families can do together. Karate
— Children are given
the opportunity to take Korean Karate, sponsored by the South Central
Tae Kwon Do Association in Martinsburg. Classes will be taught by
Pastor Ken at the church Saturdays. For more information, contact
