Pastor Aimee Twigg

Pastor Tom PicturePastor Aimee Twigg was born in Bellevue, Pennsylvania and lived for a time in Cleveland, Ohio before returning to Pittsburgh where she graduated from South Hills High School. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Writing from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Divinity from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC.  Pastor Aimee and her husband, Pastor Augie, reside in the parsonage on College Avenue in Greensburg.  Pastor Augie is currently serving Bethany UMC in Latrobe.  The Twigg's have two grown children, Andrew and Addi, who live in Pittsburgh.  She has served both circuit (multiple church) charges and small town pastorates and was the Franklin District Superintendent under Bishop George Bashore.  Pastor Aimee is very passionate to serve the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, His people, the Church and to reach out to others with the Good News of His amazing Grace.

Youth Director, Jaimie Steel

Jaimie grew up in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and was an active member of her church's Youth Group at Christ United Methodist Church throughout middle and high school. She received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Education and Leadership degrees from Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania. Jaimie relocated to Greensburg in 2003 for a position at Seton Hill University. In her role as the Assistant Dean of Student Services at the university, Jaimie oversees the Activities Office and helps to organize events on and off campus for the campus community. In addition to her active involvement at the college as an administrator, Jaimie also takes classes on a part-time basis. She volunteers for the Westmorland County Habitat for Humanity and also assists with the Seton Hill chapter. In her spare time Jaimie enjoys running, golfing, being outdoors, and cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers!

Jaimie is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the youth of Otterbein, and especially wants to thank Pastor Tom, Pastor Aimee, the members of the Staff-Parish Relations Committee and the members of the youth who took the time to meet her. She is thrilled to have the honor of serving the congregation in this position, and looks forward to sharing her excitement, energy, and love of God with you.

Services

Otterbein offers two Sunday worship services, Sunday school for all ages, and time for refreshments and fellowship.

8:30 am - Morning Worship - contemporary worship & casual dress
9:15 am - Refreshments and fellowship
9:30 am - Sunday School for all ages
10:45 am - Late Worship Service

Junior Church

Junior Church is the second Sunday of each month during the 10:45 worship service! This is a time especially for the children where they can learn about God's word in a kid-friendly manner. Each month a different committee leads Jr. Church and provides the children with a variety of fun activities that teach them the message for that day! Join us on the second Sunday of each month for this fun time!


Sunday School

Sunday School is offered for children of all ages each Sunday beginning at 9:30am. Join us in the Children's chapel any Sunday to learn about God, Jesus, and Faith and to make new and lasting friendships
