Members
Present: Pastor Jim, Cindy Zaller,
Irma Morris, Lil Slusher, Charlie and Janelle Sarbach, Don Theiss, Tammy
Lawrence, Joe and Sandy Stavely, and Melissa Cole.
Janelle opened the meeting after the
joint meeting.
Minutes: Charlie moved to accept the October minutes.
Seconded by Joe. Motion carried.
Financial
Reports:
§
A total of $1100 has been paid to apportionments this month.
§
Benevolence (World Service) is $812 short of being paid.
§
Health and pension is at seventy per cent paid.
§
The paint job is paid in full now.
§
Windsor was billed $842
§
Everything should be caught up at the end of the year except World
Service.
§
We owe a little over $49,000 on the parsonage.
§
Charlie moved to accept the treasurer’s report. Seconded by Lil.
Motion carried.
Old
Business:
§
Melissa still plans to inventory and update the first aid kit.
§
The nominating list needs to be approved from the charge
conference.
New Business:
§
Joan Giaser will be resigning the beginning of the year from her
duties of preparing communion for the service. Sandy Stavely will take over the
duties.
§
The church usage form was reviewed again. It was decided to
include the pastor without a specified amount. The kitchen and fellowship hall
together will be $150 and a Pearl Lehn member must be present. Add “trumpeter”
and change the wording to “$50 per musician. The custodial fee should be $35.
Take out the combined category of sanctuary and fellowship hall.
§
Warren Fire Equipment was here to check the fire equipment and we
are up to date.
§
Hanging of the Greens will take place November 30th at
1:00 p.m.
§
The January and February administrative council meetings are
cancelled unless we need one. Should we have a joint meeting in February?
§
Lil moved to have the Advent offering go to World Service.
Seconded by Charlie. Motion carried.
§
We will get 25 names from Country Neighbor to buy gifts for.
§
Janelle will ask Doug Hartz if he will do the snowplowing. He and
Don should communicate when it is needed. If the snow is really bad, he can do
the parsonage also.
