Getting around the site

This site is designed for use with the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser 5.0 or higher and the Netscape Communicator (Navigator) 6.02 or higher. New versions of America Online use Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher. If you are not using one of these browsers, tables and other information may not be properly aligned and letters may not appear the proper size. Some browers may require that you click the "reload" button on your web browser if an image does not appear on the first try.

This site is designed for a screen size of 800x600 or higher, but looks optimal on a 1024x768 screen - the resolution seen on most new computers and laptops. If you cannot see the full page or need to use the bottom scroll bars, make sure your browser window is mazimized. You can do this by clicking the small square icon on the top right corner of this browser that looks like a square with a bar on top.

This site utilizes Flash files and .pdf files. To view these, your computer needs to have the Flash Player and the Acrobat Reader, respectively. These free (and safe) downloads can be obtained at:

Acrobat Reader will allow you to print and read the documents on this website that are formatted using the popular Portable Document Format (pdf). For anyone needing to enlarge the text for easier reading, this application allows you to Zoom In on the document. This can be accomplished by (1) clicking the Zoom Icon (magnifing glass with a + sign) and then (2) clicking anywhere inside the document.

This site is designed to be very visual. Therefore, a large number of images and pictures are used to show the activities of OUMC. Although all of these images have been compressed, slower download and refresh times may be noticed on some low speed data lines. Every effort has been made to optimize these pages.
