Sunday Morning Worship
Sunday morning is primarily a traditional worship service, with a blend of contemporary music, drama, and reading. You'll find songs (a mix of older and newer music), liturgy, preaching, a children's message, offering. This service is about one hour long. Our worship services occasionally include special music, drama, mission moments, baptisms, and Holy Communion.
Worship is a celebration of the full body of Christ, praising God and learning and growing in faith together. At St. Paul's we like to have many participants in our worship services. Our worship committee meets at least four times a year to plan worship content and services for each church season. Our agendas cover content of worship, communion, flowers, special music, lectors, and ushers.
Special Services
We like to celebrate the full Christian calendar at St. Paul's and so throughout the year we have many special services. Some of the services include Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Holy Week, Good Friday, Holy Saturday Prayer Vigil, and Easter sunrise service
Christian Education
Christian Education for all ages is a strong focus at St. Paul's. We have an education program for ages two through adult. Each group focuses on the scriptures and is presented in a way that allows for individuals to learn their own way. We have programs designed for all learning levels: Early Education; Middle Education; Jr High Education; Sr High Education; Adult Education; United Methodist Youth
Mission Work
Missions and outreach are extremely important to the life of St. Paul's. We have a Missions Committee which overseas St. Paul's involvement in the local national and international mission ministries of the church including outreach projects of the United Methodist Women and Sunday School. The committee also responds to those in need after local and national disasters.
