The First United Methodist Church of Oakwood is a member of
the Gainesville District of the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist
Church.
Our church is a congregation of individuals who have been placed
together by God for the purpose of sharing in His mercy, grace and love.
We come together to fellowship, worship, and grow by bringing praise and
offerings to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We worship God
every week through our weekly worship service, Sunday School and Bible
Study. We serve Him through the week by becoming "living
sacrifices" and witnesses to His changing grace. We are His
children and the sheep of His pasture. He cares for us and we, in
turn, care for each other.
