“WESLEY YOUTH GROUP”

Thursdays 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

 

Wesley Youth Group is for youth in grades 3-5.   Friends are always encouraged to join us!  Bible message, crafts, songs, games and snacks are part of our program.  We support Ronald McDonald House.  Other service projects continue throughout the year.

 

“F.O.C.U.S”

(Friends of Christ United Spiritually)

 

Mission Statement:  To love each youth for who they are; encourage each youth to develop their relationship with God; provide opportunities for nurture and growth; challenge each youth to respond to God’s call to serve.

 

Besides our weekly meetings, many other activities throughout the year are planned.  All youth in grades 6-12 are welcome to join us at any time or for any event.  Friends are encouraged to come.  Many service projects take place during our entire year.  . 

 

The Junior High F.O.C.U.S. is for students in grades 6-8.  We meet for a time of devotions, fellowship, and games.  Jr. High F.O.C.U.S. meets Thursdays, 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

 

The Senior High F.O.C.U.S. is for students in grades 9-12. We meet for a time of devotions and fellowship.  Sr. High F.O.C.U.S. meets Sundays, 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

 

 

 LITURGICAL DANCE TEAM

Tuesdays 7:30 p.m.—8:45 p.m.

 

Our name, “TaG,” stands for “Truth and Grace.”  The name recalls scripture from John 1:14-15 : “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; we have beheld his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father.”

 

TaG Team is for youth in grades 6-12.  “TaG” is a Liturgical Dance ministry that is an expressive worship tool used to bring praise and honor to God during the worship service.  Liturgical  Dance is a visual art form that uses sign language, ribbons, dance and movement “set in time to” various types of music.  Dance is an ancient form of worship, which was always used to celebrate and praise God. 

 

TaG Team has danced during worship services, at the Bishop's Confirmation Celebration, at area nursing homes and at Annual Conference.  Come and add your talent to this special ministry.  No special skills are needed.Questions?  Call Barb Skarbowski: 531-1197 / skarbowskis@optonline.net
