Oak Hill United Methodist Church

A small church with a big heart!!

About Us

Oak Hill United Methodist Church loves its Lord and each other.  We are body that loves to worship and loves to fellowship together.  This church actively supports missions such as Meals on Wheels and  the Epworth Children’s Home, and seeks to show the love of Jesus Christ to all we meet.

The mission of the church is to “make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit…” (Matt. 28:19).  We believe that God’s grace is extended to all people, and that God desires that all repent and come to faith in Jesus Christ.  This offer of salvation is found in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  God also desires that people grow in holiness.  Further, we believe the Bible is inspired by God and is authoritative in all matters of faith and practice.

Our Pastor-  Rev. Dan Blair was appointed to this church in June of 2005 after receiving his Master of Divinity from Erskine Theological Seminary.  He graduated from the University of North Carolina, and also has a MA in History from East Carolina University.  He enjoys reading, running, and spending time with his wife Elizabeth and two children.  He is currently reading The New Testament and the People of God by N.T. Wright.
