Oak Chapel United Methodist Women
The United Methodist
Women, concerned with the outreach of the church, both local and conference
wide, consists of three circles, Morning, Susannah, and Craft. A fourth circle
is being created to meet the needs of those unable to attend the other three
circles. General meetings are held
quarterly at the church. They have published cookbooks, featuring favorite
recipes, and make glass candy each Christmas season. A Bazaar is held each fall, a Mother-Daughter
Banquet in the spring, and they host the Golden Agers' Luncheon every August.
Morning Circle meets the first Thursday of the month. Co-Leaders are Joanne Jolliff
and Doris Snoddy.
Susannah Circle meets the second Wednesday of the month. Co-Leaders are Betty Lewis and Bernice
Walters.
Craft Circle meets the first Monday and third Thursday of the
month. Co-Leaders are Jen Moser and
Sandy Treece.
