Sunday School

There are currently 6 Sunday School classes meeting at Oak Chapel.  The Sing-Mar class meets upstairs; all other classes meet downstairs.  Sunday School begins at 9:30 am September thru May and at 9:00 am June - August.

The Beginners class is for children age 4 through grade 2.  They are currently exploring ways to show God's love to others by their actions.

The Intermediate class is for children in grades 3-6.  They are currently delving into the Bible to "brush up" on their Bible knowledge and to build a knowledge base to guide them in making decisions in their daily life.

The Jr./Sr. High class is for youth in grades 7-12.  They are currently viewing videos that relate Bible lessons to current issues in their life.

The Young Adult class is designed to accommodate the needs and concerns of young adults and parents of children school age or younger.  They are currently studying the Bible using the series "Genesis to Revelation".

The Kingdom Seekers class is reading "When All Else Fails...Read the Instructions" by James W. Moore. This book takes a close look at three sections of the Bible which dramatically underscore key "instructions" for living:

1. Instructions for Meaningful Living - The Beatitudes

2. Instructions for Moral Living - The Ten Commandments

3. The Bottom Line Instruction - The New Commandment of Jesus, "Love One Another"

The Sing-Mar class is currently studying the prophets of the Old Testament.
