The Mission Statement of Oak Chapel United Methodist Church
To serve Christ and community through Love, Compassion, Fellowship, and Caring.
The Goals of Oak Chapel United Methodist Church for 2003
1. To continue to promote Christian education for all ages through Sunday School, Youth Fellowship, Group Bible Studies, and Vacation Bible School.
2. To continue to stress the awareness of to the responsibilities
of each church committee within the church and to stress the participation by each
committee member.
3. To fully pay our apportionment in the Category I area (Conference Benevolence/Missions) in
2004. The amount is $6,505.00.
4. To continue to support our Youth as they continue to grow as a
vital ministry to Oak Chapel. Adult and
parental assistance is necessary especially on outings and retreats.
5. To continue to seek innovative ways in which the church can
improve and achieve their financial and stewardship obligations and
commitments.
