VBS 2003 was held June 23-27 from 9:00 am to 11:30 am.
“The rooster’s crowing and it’s time to get crackin’! It’s Fair time again and the farm is buzzing with excitement. From pie baking and craft making to cow milking and hog calling, SonHarvest County Fair has it all! Students of all ages love the farming theme and down-to-earth fun as they get hands-on experience in growing, making and presenting their best.”
Through the examples of Jesus and His parables, students grew a crop of love, sprouted joy, planted peace, produced some patience and picked a bushel of kindness, too! They learned that the best way to grow is to know Jesus as their Savior and to live as He wants them to live. You’ll be rewarded as you see the students who come to your church grow the fruit of the Spirit in their lives.
During their time in SonHarvest County, country kids and city slickers alike tried their hand at real-life farm activities like corn shucking, wheelbarrow racing, making berry preserves and sprouting seeds. Each day they looked forward to creating their own blue-ribbon arts and crafts, eating farm-fresh snacks and singing great songs. The last day of VBS, at the Grandstand Revue closing program, students were excited to perform their favorite SonHarvest songs for family and friends and to show off their Fair entries.
