2006 -07 District Basic Lay Speaking Ministries Classes

The Basic LS Classes are designed to ground you in scripture, provide coaching and instruction in a variety of topics,
and provide a "safe" workshop environment where you can practice your skills.

Our goal is to help you identify and enhance your spiritual gifts and vocational skills so that you may go forth in confidence -
in meaningful mission, ministry, and/or leadership activities.

A sound, basic Lay Speaker Ministry program grounds and provides instruction that builds confidence
with clergy and other church leadership around the district.

We invite and encourage clergy to come, and observe any of the classes.
Clergy are particularly invited to listen and and help coach lay speakers
during lay speaker "TALKS" and sermons.
