Hospitals, councils of churches, and other organizations are sometimes involved in facilitating the establishment and ongoing work of parish nurse programs by providing a "Parish Nurse Coordinator" for the community. They can be a valuable source of information and advice, and they often provide continuing education opportunities for the parish nurse and a chance to network. Here is a list of such Parish Nurse Coordinators within our conference. If your community has such a resource that is not listed here, please let us know about it by sending an e-mail to woodcockr@wcsu.edu. We particularly need information about such resources within our districts in New York State.
