Welcome to the North Wilkesboro District of United Methodist Women!

The North Wilksboro District is one of 15 districts in the Western North Carolina Conference UMW. This district is located in the northwestern corner of North Carolina encompassing seven counties. There are 64 individual units of UMW within the district.

UMW Purpose

The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
