High school youth serving the people of the Appalachia Mountains so their homes can be made warmer, safer and drier.

Des Moines Catholic Worker House
NUMC provides and serves a home cooked meal to the homeless the 3rd Friday of each month.
Those interested in helping to serve, meet at the church at 5:15pm to help load and carpool to the
Des Moines Catholic Worker House, located at 1310 7th St. Des Moines, IA.

Responding to Iowa's Natural Disasters -Cedar Rapids
This mission of the Iowa Annual Conference in response to the destruction cause
 by 2008 flooding around the state.
THANKS TO THE “YOUTH STRIKE” YOUTH FOR BRINGING THIS NEED TO OUR ATTENTION AND INSPIRING US TO TAKE ACTION!

Another trip is being planned in the fall of 2009.
