Sunday
School
The youth classes are working
on a series from Cokesbury that cycles over a three year period. So 6th - 8th
grade have their series, eventually 9th grade will be the confirmation class
(Church 101), and 10th - 12th grade have their series.
Kevin Barth and the Explorers
class have started a
new series called Faith Link. Each Sunday the class deals with different aspects
of modern society and how our faith links to them: Creationism, Capital
Punishment, etc. It provides the view from many perspectives. This class meets in the Fellowship Hall.
The pastor is doing Church 101
which is to be the confirmation class. This is for new members, old members,
inquisitive members and deals with all you ever wanted to know about church but
were afraid to ask. This class meets in the library.
Family & Fellowship, led by
Jesse Faleris, will study the book, The Year of Living
Biblically. This class meets in the
educational building.
The other adult classes are
the Friendship class taught by Tom McKenny, the Love Thy Neighbor class taught
by Jim Macco, and the New Dimension class taught by Jerry Zima. These
