Each Sunday the Bible and related issues are discussed at 9:00 AM in classes for Elementary, Middle, High School and Adults. Children enjoy Bible lessons, crafts and friendship. Younger children meet in the Child Care Room.

The Quest youth group in grades 6-8 meet Sunday afternoon from 4:00-5:15 PM during the school year under the direction of our Youth Director, Ted Brosius. Activities include plays, community service field, trips life issue exploration, retreats and much more.

 

United Methodist Youth in High School meet Sunday evenings from 5:30-7:30 PM under the direction of our Youth Director Ted Brosius. Join us for fun, food, merriment, challenges and yes, you will meet God too. Come for a host of other great activities including our snow challenge, annual kayak trip, retreats and much, much more.

 

Youth Group News

             I hope everyone is having a great fall!  This is one of my favorite times, as the fog comes and goes, the snow creeps back down the mountains, and all the trees change!  Fall is always a time of change and reflection.                                                                               We have a busy couple of months coming up, what with Halloween, Ft. Flagler, Thanksgiving, a spaghetti feed, Advent, and Christmas, so here's the schedule through November:
November 1 Quest 4-5:15pm, UMY 5:30-7:30pm   Wii Night!
November 6-8 Ft. Flagler Sr. High Retreat
Meet at the church at 6pm for the ride up, we'll be back sometime early Sunday afternoon.                                                     November 8 No youth groups (very sad)
November 14 Youth Group Spaghetti Feed at the church! 5-7pm. Yes, I'll be making my infamous spaghetti with bread, salad, and cookies! Donations will be accepted!
November 15 Quest 4-5:15pm, UMY 5:30-8:30pm
November 22 Pay attention to the youth board as to what's happening this week. I will be out of town doing family things, but I'm going to come up with something to do!
November 29 Quest 4-5:15pm, UMY 5:30-8:30pm.   Bring your leftovers to youth group, and we'll have a big smorgasbord!
             For those who have been wondering, the Sunday School for Middle School and High School youth is being taught be me.  We've already covered the Letter of James, and we're currently studying Hebrews.  Our conversations have also ranged beyond just these books, covering several diverse subjects!
             Again, I hope everyone has a safe and happy November, and I'll see you at church!
