Vision

Our vision for the Northern Maine District is to have a vibrant United Methodist faith community serving every populated area in the Northern Maine District. 

Mission

We are called to unite in mission and ministry to proclaim a holistic gospel that addresses the urban/rural realities and needs of the Northern Maine District.

Objectives

To understand ourselves as one faith community

To build a shared sense of common ministry and purpose in the district

To identify and overcome barriers to faithful and effective evangelization

To equip churches and pastors for effective and relevant ministry in their settings

To strengthen the connection between the local churches and with the New England Annual Conference
