Born on May 24, 1958 in Reedsville, PA to Calvin M. and Barbara I. Doverspike.
Graduated from Kishacoquillas High School in 1976.
Graduated with a BS from Penn State University in 1980 with a major in Forest Products. Married on August 13, 1980 to Marcell D. Carson .
Graduated with a M.S. from The Institute for Paper Chemistry in Appleton, Wisconsin in 1982.
Graduated with a M. Div. from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C. in 1985.
Was assigned to the Keystone-Perry United Methodist Charge from 1985 – 2000.
Two sons were born – one in 1988 and one in 1993.
Was assigned to the Northern Bedford County United Methodist Charge from 2000 – present
