Mission Discovery 2001: Russia
 
June 16 - July 2, 2001  
   
Ranging from ages 16-24 years old, 14 youths along wth four adult leaders traveled to Russia to work at Children's Home No. 4 in Pavlovsk, outside of St. Petersburg. At the home were 600 children with varying degrees of psychological/neurological difficulties.
 
   
 
  Team leaders included:
The Rev. David and Christy Newhouse of Gurnee, Ill. (Northern Illinois Conference)
Gail Musolf, Minneapolis, (Minnesota Conference), and
Bishop Greg Palmer of Iowa Conference.
