The United Methodist Volunteers In Mission – North Central Jurisdiction (UMVIM-NCJ) supports efforts by individuals and groups of volunteers within the NCJ who undertake specific tasks as described by their hosts to bring Christ's healing to situations of need. It acts as a clearinghouse for UMVIM information and volunteer opportunities and maintains close relationships with the Annual Conferences in the NCJ.
UMVIM-NCJ is the resourcing agency for conference UMVIM committees, and is the liaison to the General Board of Global Ministries’ and the Mission Volunteers’ office.
