Wednesdays 7:00 p.m. "Companions in Christ" year-long Bible Study led by Bonnie Rich and Rev. Lois. The meeting is from 7-8:30 p.m. This Biblical journey looks at the "way," the "mind," the "heart," the "work," and the "Spirit" of Christ as we gather to discuss our weekly Scripture readings and reflection questions
Thursdays 7:30 p.m. Choir Practice
Saturdays 8:30 a.m. (until 10:00 a.m.) Twice a Month Small Group. Meet in the library. A light breakfast is served and then a video and small group discussion. August dates are: August 2nd and August 16th.
First Saturday of the Month 10:00 a.m. Book Group. Meet in the office. We discuss how words interact with 'The Word' for people of faith. The August book is "The Music Lesson" by Victor L. Wooten. Book group meetings last from one to one and one-half hours.
July 23-31--summer mission trip to Spirit Lake, North Dakota
Sunday, August 10 immediately after the worship service (until about 3:00 p.m.)--North Northfield's annual summer picnic. The picnic will be at Half Day forest preserve. The theme is Hawaiian--leis will be provided! Dress up--there will be awards for the best costume. The church will provide hamburgers and hot dogs. Please bring a dish to share. There will be lots of fun games. Bring your friends and relatives! The forest preserve is at 619 South Milwaukee Ave., Uninc Lake County, IL. Directions from church: go north on Sanders to Lake Cook Road. Turn left at Lake Cook. Take the MilwAukee Ave/IL-21/US-45 exit. Keep left at the fork to continue toward IL-21 N/N Milwaukee Ave/US-45 N. Turn right at IL-21 N/N Milwuakee Ave/US-45 N. Continue to follow IL-21 N/N Milwaukee Ave.
