Our new pastor

Jeff Peppers will officially become the pastor of North Merritt Island United Methodist Church on February 1, 2006.

Jeff has been in full-time ministry since 1998 - from 1998 to 2000 as Pastor of Lay Mobilization at Bayshore UMC in Tampa; from 2000 to 2003 as Pastor of Fort White UMC; and from 2003 to February 2006 at Satellite Beach UMC, serving as the Associate Pastor and Youth Pastor.

Before entering the ministry, Jeff served nine years as an Army officer (1989 to 1998), and four years in the Marines (1979 to 1983). He has a degree in Christian Studies and Business Administration from Wayland Baptist University, and is currently studying for his Master of Divinity at Asbury Theological Seminary's Orlando campus.

Jeff and his wife Lori have three children: Justin (21), Andrew (17) and Tyler (15). And Frisky, their cat.
