At the time of death, a Christian casts

important emphasis to the fact that the earthly presence of the deceased exists
no more, and this can be an aid in the acceptance of the reality of death. After death the body returns to
dust. Cremation is considered as
natural and appropriate in full accord with the best traditions of the
Christian faith.
Quite often, our Pastor is visited by
people who wish to make prearrangements for interment in the

showing the name, year of birth,
and year of death may be placed with the other nameplates on the large bronze
plaque located in the Garden. The nameplate may be ordered through the Church office
and the same information will be entered in the
The membership of
The Memorial Garden Committee welcomes
additional contributions as a means to help defray costs associated with
maintaining the Garden’s landscaping, benches and lawn care.
Most of the work in maintaining this
beautiful facility is done by volunteers of the church. If you like to garden,
perhaps this could be one way to fulfill your commitment to serve.
