Ways to Help at Christ United Methodist Church
Custodian
- We are looking to hire
a custodian for the church who would work approximately 15 hours per week, keeping
our building in tiptop shape. If you know of someone who might be interested in
this position, please contact one of the Pastors with the person's name and
telephone number.
Interfaith
Hospitality Network – The Interfaith Advocacy Program (IAP) is
a program of the Ocean County Interfaith Hospitality Network committed to
advocating for public policies that promote social justice, the alleviation of
poverty and the well being of low-income families. IHN has asked each member
congregation to send a volunteer to participate in this new program. For more info, please contact Patty Martin

volunteer for CUMC..
Will you
help feed the hungry?? - Even if you
can’t participate in the making or distribution of the sandwich lunches
provided by our church, your donations in the “Coins for Christ”
jar will be used to buy food for this important mission.
Communion
Stewards – Volunteers are needed to help SERVE on
Communion Sunday. (First Sunday of each Month) If you can help and would like
to volunteer, please sign up for 9:15 AM or 11:00 AM service. Sign-up form is in the Narthex. For

Altar
Flowers – If you would like to place flowers on
the altar, forms are in the Narthex. If you need additional info, contact Milly
Sommers, 732-901-4227.
