Dates To Remember at CUMC
Standard worship schedule began on Sunday, September 16th.
November 26-30: Hanging of the Greens as always we will be decorating the church
for Christmas starting the Monday after Thanksgiving, (November 26) and ending
Friday, November 30. We will need men and able-bodied women on November 26th
starting at 9:30 a.m. for heavy work (moving boxes and putting up trees, etc.).
We will be trimming trees on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., everyone can do this. You
do not need to climb any ladders, there will be help. The other days are also
needed for non-specific work. Let me know when you can come. I will need all

Children's Breakfast with Santa and Christmas Tree decorating and trimming the Sunday School
Christmas Tree.
December 8, 8:00 AM: The United Methodist Men will meet on Saturday, Here at CUMC..
Now thru December 16: Church Christmas Card - It is that time of the year
again when we think of sending out Christmas Cards and making out our Christmas
list. Please remember to put the camp fund in your Christmas List and donate to
the Christmas Card. Please see Cathy Montgomery in Fellowship Hall for the next
three (3) Sundays to donate toward the
December 9th: Recognition Sunday - - We will be having a special
service at 9:30 a.m. to recognize some members of our congregation for the work
they have dedicated to
MEMBER UPDATE - We need your help. We want to update information for our Church records,
which has not been done in some time. If you haven't filled out your update
form, please do so today. Forms are available on the table in the Narthex.
IHN - Wish List: phone cards, copier paper, toilet paper, department store gift cards
(i.e. Target, Wal-Mart, Kohls, Kmart) stamps. Alarms clocks, Large garbage
bags.
All household cleaning items (kitchen, furniture,
floor & bathroom cleaners, mops,
brooms, paper towels), Personal care products (full
sizes of deodorant, soap, shampoo, conditioner, razors, (men & women),
men's shaving cream, feminine napkins/tampons, toothbrush holders)
World AIDS Day 2007 - St. Andrew Methodist Church of Toms River, in conjunction with the
Ocean County Health Department, will be holding a program in observance of
World AIDS Day 2007. This event will take place on Friday, November 30th from
6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at 1528 Church Road, Toms River. (Flyer posted on
bulletin board)
Francis Asbury Manor - Christmas Bazaar - Saturday, December 8th at 9 - 3 p.m. White
Elephant, Jewelry, Homemade Goods, Cards, a Children's Table, Baked Goods and a
Snack Bar.
