Our Vision at
NUMC:
The Nimmonsburg United Methodist Church is committed to be a community
of faith, and is intentional about serving the Lord. We are united in the worship of God the
Father and Jesus Christ His Son with the inspiration of the Holy
Spirit.
Just as Christ came to be our servant, our vision is to serve God
and others through word and witness, to treat all people as sisters and
brothers, and to foster responsible stewardship for the good of all Gods
creation.
This vision
will be accomplished by:
Reaching out to people wherever they
are to receive them just as they
are;
Relating them to God through Jesus
Christ as Savior and Lord;
Nurturing
them to become
effective Christian disciples,
and,
Sending
them out as apostles to witness for Christ to create a more just
world.
