United Methodist Men’s Annual Report for 2011

Steve Nailor, President

The Conference UMM continues to witness, grow spiritually, and make a difference in other’s lives. We continue to develop our website. Members of the conference and, particularly our United Methodist Men, make a difference for others.

Men are growing in Christ, so others can know Christ and develop Men’s groups as we endeavor to strengthen our charters and EMS (Evangelism, Mission, and Spirituality). The Spiritual Congress touched on Men’s Spiritual Formation and how important that is in their daily lives. Jerry Haas, Dr. Norval Brown, and Rich Rubietta were the leaders.

Wardell Boyd, Conference Prayer Advocate and Steve Nailor attended the NACP meeting in Nashville and presented the Upper Room Prayer Ministry with a check for $1000. This vital ministry helps support the Upper Room prayer line that reaches thousands of individuals and families each year.

Strength for Service devotional project was a huge success. We raised $7251.00 and provided 1200 Strength for Service Devotionals and 216 Faith Sharing New Testaments for our Military Men and Women in cooperation with the Blue Star Mothers of America.
