Kids Krossing Preschool

Kid Krossing Preschool is a Pre-K program for 4- and 5-year-olds sponsored through a joint effort with USD 309 and the Kid Krossing, Inc Board of Directors at Nickerson UMC. Carrie Wellman and Vivian Ruckert are the teachers. Class begins at 8am and runs to 11:30am, with a snack provided by USD 309. A typical preschool morning offers time for imagination play, creative art expression, singing, and a variety of large and fine motor skills activities. Kids Krossing Preschool is fortunate to have a Tricycle Trail in addition to the regular jungle gym type equipment. The entire program focuses on Kindergarten readiness through development of literacy and math skills. The curriculum is driven by the needs of the students.
