In growing God's kingdom, we need to reach out to His kids. Think for a moment about the influence from television, music, and the Internet. The secular world has our children as an audience 7-days a week. By sharing God's Word, we give His kids the armor to stand up boldly in this world with the knowledge that they are loved by God and teach them what God expects of them. NURSERY MINISTRY
This is an active, vital part of Norcross First. A nursery is provided for infants and toddlers for all worship services. Child care is also provided for many other activities upon request.

NEW PARENT MINISTRY
Our New Parent Ministry provides support for new families. We have “experienced” mothers visit the “new” moms with a packet of valuable information.

SUNDAY SCHOOL
Children are an integral part of the Norcross First ministries. Church School is offered at 9:30 & 11 a.m. for two-year-olds through Kindergarten and at 9:30 a.m. for 1st through 5th grade. At 11 a.m., 1st through 5th graders attend their own children's worship service called Kids of the Cross.

CHILDREN WORSHIP
Preschool Kids of the Cross is offered for 4 and 5 year olds during the 9:30 a.m. hour.  Elementary Kids of the Cross services for first through fifth graders, meets at 11 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. These worship celebrations are designed to teach children to worship God through music, skits, storytelling and puppets.

ACOLYTES
The acolyte program offers children in the 4th and 5th grades to participate in the 11 a.m. worship service.  Acolytes are responsible for bringing the light of Christ into the service, assisting ushers during the offertory and bring the light of Christ into the world at the conclusion of the service.   Contact Robin Buschell at 770-448-4142, x122. 

CHOIRS
We offer four different children’s choirs each Sunday evening: Melody Makers (3-year-old) Cherub Choir (4-year-old - K) Chorister (1st - 2nd grades) Carol Choir (3rd - 5th grades)

WEEKDAY/PRESCHOOL PROGRAM
The program is designed to give young children a loving, happy learning experience in a Christian environment. It is the goal of the staff to provide a program to help children become happy, responsible, cooperative participants through positive teaching techniques that are age appropriate. It is our responsibility to give feedback, and help them grow in respecting the rights and feelings of other people through basic Christian principles. The classes are offered to children from 6 months through 4 years.

MIDWEEK PROGRAMS

Registration is required for the following:

• Bible Clubs offered on Wednesday evenings for children age 2 years through 5th grade.  Contact Rev. Terri Hoye at 770-448-4142, x105.  
• Scouting programs for boys in grades 1-12 and for girls in kindergarten through 12th grade.  For more information on the scouting program, please contact Don Letteer via email: dgletteer@yahoo.com.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Step right up, one and all, and reserve your ticket to the all new VBS SonWorld Adventure Park! The park will be open June 23-27, 2008 from 9:30am-12:30pm. Registration is going on now for ages 4 through 6th grade. There is no height requirement for having fun, so invite your friends to spend a week getting to know Jesus! New adventures are planned this year, including 6th Grade Extreme, Carnival Day, and much more- you won't want to miss it! Call Rev. During the summer months we offer many special events involving children. Vacation Bible School is an exciting highlight for children of all ages. It is held in June.
