Announcing a NEW group in our church. They are the Elderberries (That is... Seniors who are still fruitful!) The group will meet the first Thursday of every month. The time is 1:30 - 3:00. If you would like to join this group or get more information, contact Pastor Mari (425-2770).
Come to Tuesday evening Bible study at the parsonage at 7:00pm.
Administrative Council meetings are now held directly after church on Sunday - bi-monthly. Church members are always welcome to come to any meetings.
Or you could join the board of trustees who meet the first Sunday of each month. These folks are responsible for the physical quality of the church. Like our great new paint job.
Want to get to know your community? Then join Angels in Action. This group performs "random acts of kindness" throughout the local area. Halloween saw them doing some reverse trick-or-treating, where they dressed up and traveled around, handing out goodies.
Another active group in our church is the Shepherds. These folks take time to visit local shut-ins and bring the joy of worshiping as a community to those who are not able to come to church on Sunday. Their visits make a bright spot in someone's day.
On the last Sunday of each month, you are invited to bring in a canned food item that will go to a local food pantry. These food items will be dedicated to the glory of God during our offertory time. Look for the food basket in the back of the Sanctuary and place your food items there.
