Dear Brothers and
Sisters at NFUMC,
Today I am thinking about gifts, simple gifts, gifts I didn’t do
anything to deserve, but there they are. Last
Sunday and Monday were gifts. To
have the wonderful warmth long after I had assumed we were into the winter
season. I was able to clean up a few
more gardens and re pot a bunch of houseplants outside.
That was a gift. Last night I
caught sight of a very pretty sunset. A
beautiful sunrise or sunset is such a gift.
Then just as I sat down to write this I saw something in the front lawn
bushes. It was a handsome and very busy grouse.
Another gift. I get so much
out of the Bible Studies and the sharing that happens, that is a gift.
Hope you can look for these gifts from God deposited like gold into each
of our days.
Grace and Peace,
Pastor Kim
