NFUMC Vision Statement: 

Sharing Christ's warm transforming love with our community, our state, our nation and our world.

    

    We fulfill this vision statement many ways. We wish to share one the many ways the church feels is unique; our Mission Program.

    We offer many different mission opportunities to the congregation. They, in turn, may choose to support one, several, or if they are so inclined, all of the missions.

    Listed below is a brief outline of the many missions we support here at NFUMC:

Locally we work with or give money to:

Covenant Hills Christian Camp - Volunteer camp counselors, work day participants, Click here to read about the work we did in June 2009.

Partners in Service (PINS) - local social worker working with children

HOPE - encompasses: Thrift Shop, job training, and many other needs to self-help

John Graham Shelter - groceries

Economic Crisis Community Response Team (ECCRT) of Addison County - help with fuel costs

Christmas Shop - towels, soap, etc. 

Emergency Pastor Fund - local urgent needs

Souper Bowl Sunday 

Fuel Fund - provide gasoline money for vehicles of people in need - operated through the John Graham Shelter

Operation Christmas Child - Shoe Box Project through Samaritan's Purse

Globally we work or give money to:

sent work team to Mississippi (youth and adults) in the Fall of 2008
