Thank you for taking the time to visit Newtonville United Methodist Church online!
Whether you are just beginning to check out this "church thing" or you are a committed Christ-follower, you are welcome here. We're a friendly community journeying together to God, and we believe that the more companions we have, the more meaningful the trip. God has blessed us with a group of fellow travelers, and offers that blessing to any and all. We'd love to have you check us out sometime, either by stopping in on any Sunday morning at 10am for worship, or by calling us at 518.785.6789, or by sending an email our way to newtonvilleumc@nycap.rr.com.
You may find answers to many of your questions are just a click away... But the best way to find out who we are is to come and see-you are welcome!
Newtonville Church hosts a worship service each Sunday at 10:00am. Feel free to stop in any week. We host special services through the year, especially at Christmas time and during the time leading up to Easter. Special services will be featured on the website. Check out our Worship page to find out more about our services and discover answers to any questions you may have.
We are located at 568 Old Loudon Rd, also known as Rt 9, between Loudonville and Latham, at the intersection of Maxwell Road. You'll find us easily accessible from anywhere you call home.
"Yes, the church fails in its mission and makes serious blunders precisely because the church comprises human beings who will always fall short of the glory of God. That is the risk God took. Anyone who enters the church expecting perfection does not understand the nature of that risk or the nature of humanity. Just as every romantic eventually learns that marriage is the beginning, not the end, of the struggle to make love work, every Christian must learn that church is also only a beginning."
