Pastor's Note:

I am so privileged to be appointed as the pastor here at New Salem U.M.C.  I get to minister with a staff and a group of church leaders that truly believe that Jesus is the best thing that ever happened to them.  The greatest joy I have is seeing people enter into a growing relationship with Christ that renews their hearts offering purpose and hope through the difficulties of life.  We are committed to humbly helping each other grow in the love of God and neighbor.  We would be honored to have you join us in this journey to abundant Life that leads us to seek and bless the least, the lost, and last in this world.

Youth Director's Note:

We provide teenagers in the 6th- 12th grade opportunities to come together and grow stronger in their relationship with God, to use their gifts and witness to others.   We enjoy mission work within our church and the surrounding community. To do this, we use a drama program entitled WORD - “Witnessing to others through religious drama” and a Worship choir entitled FLOW - “Future leaders of worship”. Our mission is:  “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity”.  1 Timothy 4:1

Music Note:

New Salem has a wide variety of opportunities for spiritual growth and many outlets to share musical and theatrical talents through our Chancel Choir, Vocal Team, Youth Drama & Music, and God's Kids.

Administrative Asst's Note:

New Salem is a vibrant and active community church.  As the Administrative Assistant, I provide office support to the staff and various ministries of the church by taking care of office needs and publicizing important church information via the newsletter, bulletin and emails.
