  Sunday Worship Services (New Times!)

  • 9:00am    Sunday School
  • 10:00am  Praise & Worship
  • Children's Church - Ages 4-8 are dismissed during the service for an opportunity to learn basic Christian principles in a child-friendly environment
  • Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month

  Wednesday Night Fellowship (During the school year)

  • 5:45pm  Fellowship Dinner
  • 6:30pm  Adult Study, Youth, God’s Kids & Nursery
  • 7:30pm  Chancel Choir practice

  Sunday School

  • Children & Youth Classes:  Designed to develop in our students a love for and a greater knowledge of the Holy Bible, an appreciation for the power of prayer, and an experience in Christian fellowship
    • Nursery – Infant - 2 years
    • Little Angels – 3-4 years
    • Early Elementary – Grades K-1
    • Middle Elementary – Grades 2-3
    • Older Elementary – Grades 4-5
    • Junior High – Grades 6-8
    • Senior High – Grades 9-12
  • Adult Classes:
    • College Age (Young adults, ages 18-22)
    • Crossroads (Ages 18-30) -  A variety of materials and media are used to help the class search for Biblical answers to the problems of today’s world
    • The Keepers of the Faith (Middle Age Adults) -  A discussion-based class, exploring how our Christian values and the Bible address today’s current events
    • The Best Half Class (Middle to Older Adults) -  A variety of materials are used to assist these empty or soon-to-be empty nesters and second marriage couples in lessons that deal with family life and relationship issues, including parenting older children, caring for aging parents, raising grandchildren, rediscovering your spouse and having fun
    • The Kaleidoscope Class (Adults of All Ages) -  offers a chance for adults of any age to share in Bible Study from their very different perspectives and life experiences, utilizing traditional materials to facilitate their study of the Bible
    • The David Bunch Friendship Class (Middle to Older Adults) -  The Cokesbury Adult Bible Study and other series are used to facilitate this class. Through the A.G. Campbell Scholarships and  monthly contributions to various projects, this group reaches out to serve the community
    • The Wesley Class (“Young at Heart” Adults) -  Using the Cokesbury Bible Study Series, our goal is to strengthen our faith through Bible study, prayer and a willingness to serve God through service to our fellowman.

  United Methodist Men – Monthly dinner meetings with food and fellowship

  United Methodist Women – Divided into four subgroups with monthly meetings at various times designated by each group:

  • Colvert-Swann Friendship Group
  • Fun & Fellowship Circle
  • Mildred Turner Community Action Group
  • Pearl Webb Study & Sharing Group

  Youth Group for 6th - 12th grades:

  Meetings are held on Sundays (5:00-7:00pm) & Wednesdays (6:30-7:30pm) - very active in spiritual development & missions

  Music & Drama Ministry:               

  • Chancel Choir – Provides a traditional style during the worship service. Practices on Wednesdays at 7:30pm
  • Vocal Team – Provides a contemporary selection during the worship service. Practices on Sundays at 8:10am
  • The WORD Youth drama team that often leads Worship and performs at area rallies and churches
  • FLOW Youth choir and praise band, meets on Sundays before Youth and often leads Worship
  • God's Kids Choir Meets on Wednesdays as part of regular activities, sings for special services & presents a Christmas Pageant
  • Seasonal Opportunities Walk to the Stable with Bethlehem Marketplace, Hand Chimes, Liturgical Movement Team, Wind Band

Mission & Outreach Ministry: 

Focuses on bringing the hands and feet of Christ to those in need by providing opportunities for church members to help people in our local community, state, nation and throughout the world.  We have various missional services that we extend to our community in the love of Christ.  A few examples include:

  • Backpack Program – Provide food in backpacks for local school children over the weekend to make sure they have enough to eat
  • Mission Teams – We help locally & outside the state to help build affordable housing and also rebuilding homes damaged by natural disasters
  • Soup Kitchen – Help serve food & provide desserts once a month
  • Nursing Home – Visit once a month to provide contact & worship

Scouts - Serves as the meeting site for Boy Scout Troup 363 and Cub Scout Pack 363 ranging from Tigers to Senior Boy Scouts

Hands of Hope Prayer Shawl Ministry – Meets each Thursday to knit and crochet prayer shawls for individuals in the church, community and beyond

Trunk or Treat – Held each year to provide a fun and safe environment for children in our community to trick-or-treat

Walk to the Stable – An amazing production in December that re-creates the Bethlehem marketplace and journey to the stable celebrating the night that our Savior was born, serves as our Christmas gift to the community
